General Conference: August 9 - 11, 2016

Vendor Day Registration - For-Profit Education Vendors can provide Instructional Resources to attendees on Thursday, Aug. 11. -Registration Fee: $100.00 per table
Buffet Lunch offered each day (Cost includes beverage and dessert)
Current teachers, administrators, and educators will present staff development sessions during the general conference. Topics will cover areas such as specific content areas, reading, writing, Exceptional Children, legal issues, English as a Second Language, family engagement, classroom management, technology, Academically Intellectually Gifted, and much more.
*Certified Employees can earn General CEU renewal credit for their participation, unless otherwise identified in the program or noted at the registration table. Reading credit may be available for selected sessions, however, a total of at least 10 hours must be submitted to the Central Office for processing. If less than 10 contact hours of reading credit are earned at the Summer Institute, then the balance needed may be earned by completing an independent study or other reading credit approved staff development. Technology credit for Wayne County Public School employees is not available at the Summer Institute.
**Session presenters who are employees of Wayne County Public Schools will earn 10 contact hour (1 CEU) for each unique 1-hour session presentation.
